Pastry Bag vs Olivator
Posted by Nicki on 11/10/2011
Stuffed olives are all the rage for high class snackers and martini drinkers, dahhhhling. The holiday party season is upon us and everybody needs a new tidbit to serve that's easy but impressive. You can buy them but what fun is that? Let’s get creative and a little crazy with this idea. To do that, one needs the proper tool. Trying to stuff an olive with a pastry bag is nuts. I don’t care how small the tip is. Professional pastry chefs take a really long time to perfect this skill. Let’s cut to the chase, shall we. Guests are due at 6. This little guy cores the perfect size and shape of pimento, onion, jalapeno, garlic, cheese or pate and delivers it into the olive with a simple press of the button. We’ve taken care of the savory now let’s think sweet. Plunge into chocolate or marscapone or goat cheese or cheese cake batter and put in cherries, strawberries or figs. Yum!!!!Now it’s your turn to be creative. Let us know your ideas.
